Healthy Feel-Good Chocolate Chip Balls Recipe

Makes about 30

Ingredients

1 cup non-hydrogenated margarine

1/2 cup sugar

1/4 cup Egg Beaters

1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla

3 cups whole wheat pastry flour

1/2 cup oat bran or wheat bran

1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder

1 cup chocolate chips

Method

Preheat oven to 375F.
Blend butter & sugar until fluffy.
Add egg & vanilla,
mix until just
combined.
Add flour, bran, and baking powder in intervals.
Stir in chocolate
chips.
Shape into 1 1/2" balls
and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 10 minutes or until lightly
browned. Remove from oven, let cool for one minute and then transfer to wire
rack.

Allow cookie sheet to cool thoroughly before placing uncooked dough on it.
