1 cup butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 unbeaten egg yolk
2 cups flour
1/2 lb. See's Bordeaux fudge (can be obtained from See's Candy website, catalog
1/2 teaspoon salt
Cream butter and gradually add brown sugar. Mix well. Blend in egg yolk. Add
salt. Stir until it forms dough. Chill until firm.
Shape into small balls. Put
on baking sheet
and make indentation in center of each ball. Place small squares of Bordeaux
middle of indentation.
Bake at 325 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
